Interesting question! How tall you are likely to be depends a lot on your genes, so if you have tall parents you have a good chance on being tall yourself. However, it also depends on your environment too, so for example if you don’t eat a healthy diet when you’re growing up, you might not grow as tall as you could do. Milk contains lots of calcium, which is important for having strong and healthy bones, but it won’t necessarily make you grow bigger.

Hi hughgreer007! Milk contains lots of calcium which is important for healthy teeth and bones. Calcium also helps our nerves, muscles, kidneys, and liver to function properly so drinking milk as part of a balanced diet is one of the things that will help keep your body healthy 🙂 Milk will definitely help to keep your teeth and bones healthy although it won’t necessarily make you grow bigger!

I will tak a different tack on this question 🙂
If your body is deficient of vitamins minerals electrolytes etc then your body will not function properly.
Growth is a body function and as such you will not grow properly if you do not have enough things like calcium in your diet.
So if you dont have enough milk then you wont grow properly ! but you can get calcium for other sources so dont worry if you dont like milk 🙂
I am afraid if you drink lots of milk it will not make you taller !

So you dont need lots of milk to grow big. Why do they say that you grow if you drink lots of milk in adverts.

Probably to get you to buy more milk! 🙂
