Question: Why do we get freckles
Asked by mshaw to Jemma, John, Katie, Lisa on 29 Jun 2012.
answered on 29 Jun 2012:
Freckles are simply build ups of the substance melanin, the same substance which gives skin its colour. They generally become more noticable and darker when exposed to the sun.
