For A Levels I took Biology, Physics, History and Maths
For GCSE’s I took the usual English, Science and Maths with Resistant Materials, Drama, History, Geography and Spanish.
I found it really hard to decide and based my choice mainly on what I thought I would enjoy in the end – but for my A Levels also what would be useful for the sort of degree I wanted to go on to do!
I took quite a range: Biology, P.E, I.C.T and maths. I think it is good to have variety as you can always choose which areas you want to focus in afterwards 🙂
At GCSE I took English, maths, statistics, science, french, german, geography, PE, and RE and I also got a qualification in IT.
When i finished school I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do next, though eventually I decided that I wanted do something science-related at university. So at A level I took biology, chemistry, geography and French.
I think if you choose subjects that you find interesting then that’s a really good start. Don’t worry if you don’t know what you want to do or be in the future, there are so many options and people that can help you along the way.
