• Question: do dogs have the same reproductive system as humans?

      I’m not sure what the set up in dogs is, but I know that the human reproductive system is very odd. Most animals have more than one uterus (or uterine horn) for example which means they can give birth to multiple offspring. Female humans only have the one uterus however making it more likely that only one child will result from a pregnancy. Also, dogs are much more fertile than humans, so intercourse nearly always results in pregnancy. It can take years for a woman to become pregnant however.
