  Wow, that’s a really good question! it certainly feels like we (or at least, I) think in English, but you’re right in thinking that it might be the case that the brain is just very quickly translating thoughts from some sort of biological code into English at a subconscious level. I’m not sure whether we’d be able to test that out with an experiment or not!
