hi again wolf1231! I don’t have any kids; I’m 28, and would like to have some in a few years though. I want my kids to be anything that they want to be – if that means they become a scientist, then great! But I wouldn’t force them. I think it’s really important that you find a job that you really enjoy, otherwise you wouldn’t do it very well and you’d be miserable all the time.

Do you want to be a scientist, or something else?

Hi wolf1231! I don’t have any kids yet but would like to have children one day…although I’d like to get a few more years of science behind me first 🙂 When I do have kids, I will try to encourage them to do something they love…whether that be music, science, sport, or travelling for a career! I think it’s really important to do what you enjoy whilst doing something that will help you to support yourself in the future. By doing something you’re passionate about, you’re giving yourself the best opportunity to be happy and fulfilled by your work – I believe that that is what is really important rather than pushing children into one particular career or another.
