      good philosophical question @tclapham,

      I would have to say no though. In terms of progression, we need new life, new ideas etc. If we could live forever, then we would have to stop new people being born or there just would not be enough room. I think that would be a real shame. Also, the selfish gene theory would suggest that we would feel unfulfilled if we did not pass on our genes.
