• Question: Do you think that steriods are ok to use, even if the person who is using the steroids isn't a professional athlete. And maybe they are a keen weightlifter?

      Hi @csankey1999,

      No is the simple answer. They are incredibly dangerous and illegal drugs. With my Psychologist’s hat on, I would also have concerns about an individual prepared to subject themselves to such a major risk for such little gain.

      Hi @csankey,

      I certainly don’t agree with their use for professional athletes, and their use can be ridiculously dangerous for keen amateur athletes as well. However steroids are very useful drugs for the treatment of inflammation, so I have absolutely no problem with their use for medicinal purposes
