      Hi @spacenut,

I hope so. Successful role models is a big reason why people take up certain sports. The long standing issue with tennis though is the expense – if someone gains a place at a tennis academy, it typically costs their parents about £65 per week!! This needs to be made much more affordable.

I certainly hope so! Lots of money is invested around the big sports events such as the olympics, in the surrounding communities and sports centres. That’s also part of the key to encouraging new generations of sports stars – not just having the role models to look up to, but also having easily accessible facilities and support structures that can help them to develop their skills.
