Hi daisym, unfortunately I have never been there but I would love to go! I haven’t been to America yet, have you? In the Grand Canyon National park there 75 species of mammals, 50 species of reptiles and amphibians, 25 species of fish, and over 300 species of birds which is pretty amazing!

      Hey daisy!

I love this question – I was actually in the grand canyon for the first time just last month!

The grand canyon national park has so much wildlife, and its awesome that you get to see lots of it as we travelled through – on the day we went there we saw a golden eagle, mountain lion and a vulture! As well as loads of big scary flying insects too actually!

Its a truly fantastic place, and very different to what I expected – in pictures you mainly see the canyon itself, so you never realise that the place where the pictures are usually being taken from is actually lush green forest!

Hope this helps and hope that you have either got to see the canyon already or will get to see it one day – its a must!
      Sam
