  If you have permanent marker on your skin, it will eventually wash away. It does this because your skin is constantly renewing itself, so eventually the top layers of skin that are stained by the marker will come off you, to be replaced by newer skin underneath.

I have managed to get rid of it using a different solvent like nail varnish remover
