      If you mean doctor as in medical doctor, then it is the same process as becoming any other doctor. Once you have been to medical school you have to spend 2 years working in a real hospital. Here you rotate around the different areas (A&E, gastro, surgery etc) deciding what you like. If the department also thinks you are good, then they will offer you a job with them once your 2 years are up. Sometimes you might have to do extra exams – if you want to become a surgeon for example
