I think it depends on the type of damage done to your back, and how serious it is. If you pull a muscle in your back, it might take a few weeks to heal. If you sprain your back though (in other words, if you damage a muscle ligament), it can take months to heal properly. If you break a bone in your back, that can be extremely serious and take years to heal; but if you damage your spinal cord in the process, that can potentially be permanent. Were you thinking of a particular type of back trouble?
Lol! Have to comment on this one! I had a back operation( scoliosis(curvy spine) correction and I was back in school after 3 weeks- though only part time. Pete is right, it depends on the damage(or in my case the op) that you have done to it!
My friend had scoliosis and was in the second stage (The C stage) and was soon going into the second stage which cannot be altered! But she went to see a chiropractor and got it sorted out 😀 she’s fine now!

They say back to school part time in 6weeks, I managed it in 3! Full time by 6 weeks! Anyway 8 months exactly today!!
