• Question: How many veins and arteries are there in the body of a baby? Is this same as an adult or is it less?

      I’m not completely sure, but I would guess that babies have the same about as an adult – veins deliver nutrients to various part of the body, and seeing as babies have the same body parts as adults, it would make sense to think they have the same blood vessel network! As to the number of veins, I don’t know if anyone knows how many there exactly, but I would guess that there are thousands, if not millions!
