      It can be dangerous, yes, but not in small quantities. Helium isn’t toxic, and doesn’t play any sort of biological role – in fact, we have trace amounts in our blood stream. However, if you were to inhale lots of it, it could mean that you weren’t inhaling enough oxygen for your body, which might result in asphyxia. So be careful with it!
