I have a horrible feeling that the penguin would eat the fish as soon as it laid eyes on it :/

Penguins only tend to mate with other penguins. Male penguins begin their mating process by building a nest and it’s generally thought that female penguins are attracted to the male penguin with the biggest nest. This is followed by the male swinging his head in a dance like fashion to keep the female interested before they settle together.
