• Question: is it true that what you think looks like orange is a different colour to some one else?

      You mean this part of the screen on which I’m typing isn’t green? Somebody with an expert knowledge of colour perception will probably answer this far more appropriately than I can, but it seems reasonable to assert that (and I guess you’re using orange as an example), that people can vary in how they perceive colour. Individuals with colour blindness, for example may not be able to dsicriminate well between certain colours.
