      Hi creeper,

Another good question, hope you enjoyed the live chat this morning.

At the moment there is a lot of research into developing a cure for the various kinds of cancer.

The thing to remember is that there are many different kinds, some are treated by tablets, whilst we can also try to kill the cancer cells through radiation (chemotherapy) but this can cause unwanted side effects such as hair loss.

The best thing to do is to identify the cancer at an early stage; doctors will then be able to treat the cancer to stop it spreading

Hope this helps, who knows in the future we may well find more cures 🙂

Hi creeper! That’s a good question that there’s no real simple answers to! The doctors/medical profession will tell us that we’re still working towards a biochemical cure for cancer yet holistic nurtitionists will tell us that our body’s are curing cancer every day because cancer is simply a normal biological process taking place in the wrong context. I think the bottom line is that there is no universal cure for cancer yet although radiotherapy and chemotherapy can help to increase a cancer patient’s chances of recovery.
As Adam says, catch it early and there’s a much better chance of survival 🙂
