      Hey kamilo – that’s a bit of a tough one! Blood will flow at different speeds in different places, depending on the size of the vein it’s travelling through. It will also flow at different speeds depending on the presence of different types of disease – for example, if you have high levels of cholesterol, that will mean that it’s harder for the blood to flow through and will affect the speed. Some estimates of blood speed are between 0.5 and 4 mph, but that’s about as specific as its gets really!
