• Question: Should all drugs be banned for athletes since even legal ones can improve performance?

      I don’t think it would be possible to ban all drugs for athletes because it would be impossible to enforce. There are certain drugs we simply can’t detect in blood or urine tests at the moment so it would be impossible to tell who is doping and who isn’t. Another argument against a flat ban on drugs is that athletes are obviously people who can fall sick, should we deny them medical treatment simply because they are athletes? I certainly think this would be unethical.

      I entirely agree with Jemma here. Some drugs are for health rather than cheating.
