• Question: The universe is always expanding, but what does it expand into?

      I think that’s a really interesting question! I think the answer to it is that it’s not actually expanding into anything, because the universe is infinitely huge. Instead, what’s happening is that the distances between stars and galaxies is being stretched. However, we don’t really know if the universe is infinite – actually, we’ll probably never known, because we’re stuck inside it. So if there is something out there, we’re never going to be able to see what it is.
