• Question: what is the best thing you have found out as a scientist?

      Hi katiejane – thanks for the question! When I was doing my PhD, I was trying to understand how people move their eyes to something that’s moving, when they’re not already looking at it. That might sound a bit boring, but what I found was that you’re actually really accurate at it – which means that your brain can figure out where something moving is going to be, before the thing actually gets there. Or in other words, your brain can sort of predict the future! I thought that was pretty cool 🙂
