      I believe Nike use Flyknit technology, which is the latest step in the brand’s mission to build shoes from the ground up, utilizing featherweight materials to create the lightest products on the market. I’m sure Adidas, Asics, and other leading footwear brands all have their own or similar materials that are used to build lightweight footwear. It’s a bit off-subject but have you heard of the Adidas Adizero F50 boot? It’s pretty cool – it has a built in “speed cell” in the sole of the boot that measures and records running speed, growth rate, distance traveled, pace, and stride length! Cool, huh?
