      This depends on the wax and how much water is in the air. It’s somewhere between 1,200°C and 1,700°C. The hottest part of the flame is the outer core (the light blue bit) which is around 1400 °C. Towards the center of the flame the temperature gets lower. The red part is around 800 °C.
