Global warming’s a really contentious issue at the moment, and I’m not really an expert in it at all, so anything I say here is my own opinion, really. I think that there’s a lot of evidence to suggest that man-made global warming does occur, but how and where it occurs is a complex question that will take time to address.

It’s hard to imagine that the globe is warming when you live in the United Kingdom! Just looking out of my window now, it’s raining (again) and it’s pretty cold for April (10 degrees centigrade). However, I understand that there is a lot of evidence to suggest that the world is warming up.

Greenhouse gases are supposed to be responsible for this increase in temperature. These greenhouse gases are produced by the burning of fossil fuels: coal, petrol and natural gas.

You asked what my opinion is on global warming. My answer is that it appears possible that global warming exists, but I can’t say for sure as I haven’t examined and weighed up all of the evidence available.

One thing is for sure. We are using up non-renewable sources of fuel (petrol, coal, gas) very quickly and they will run out! That’s why we need to continue to explore other means of generating power like, for example wind farms, solar power etc…

That’s a great question prosyndicate but unfortunately one that I can’t really answer. It’s a really relevant question in modern society and there is probably a lot of evidence for and against global warming. One thing I do know is that I like to recycle and be as “earth-friendly” as possible in everything I do…just so that I know that I’m doing my part for the environment 🙂
