Oooh… lots. Particularly with courgettes…. I planted a lot one year and didn’t realise that I would get so many from each plant! Especially bad after I went on holiday and forgot about them, so I came back to a lot of giant marrows. Think we had marrows in everything for a while – I even tried marrow jam! (Not good)
One of the more unusual things I have tried was a fennel and chocolate cake (sounds odd, quite tasty). And some of the veg never makes it to the table – fresh peas, yum yum. I think my favourite has been stir-fried purple sprouting broccoli
I would definitely try growing something if you have the space – now is a good time to plant young veg plants from a garden centre – you will really find that they are mush tastier. And a good place to find recipes is http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/
