• Question: When athletes have artificial limbs - should there be a maximum tolerance? eg could high jumpers have 2m prosthetic 'legs'?

      Hi @test1001, great question!

      Obviously extra long legs would be a big advantage to not only jumpers but runners as well which is why there are limits on things such as leg length. As I understand the limit is defined as equal to the athletes natural leg. This is easy to define for a single amputee but for a double amputee there are no hard and fast rules which leaves it open to contention.
