Great question! You can get butterflies in your stomach for a number of different reasons (like if you’re in love, or if you’re nervous about something), but it all happens in basically the same way. When an emotional response to something is triggered, it releases adrenaline into your system as part of the flight or fight response. This has the effect of diverting blood away from your stomach to more vital areas, such as the heart or limb muscles, and in turn gives you a fluttery sensation!

Well this is actually were you have ingested a butterfly and since butterflys are naturally alkalines your stomach acid cannot break it down but the reaction carries on this is why some relationships fail as the feeling is just a non-digested butterfly
