• Question: who is the best scientist ever

      I think that’s a great question, but there isn’t one single answer to it – I think it’s probably a matter of preference. I think that Charles Darwin was a brilliant scientist, and his theories on evolution have been massively influential ever since he developed them. But not everyone would agree with me!

      Who do you think the best scientist ever is?

      Wow that’s a really tough question! I think that a German scientist called Sir Hans Krebs was a great scientist becuse he found out the order of the series of chemical reactions that produces energy in cells. This was really important in helping us to understand how it is that we actually get the energy out of proteins, carbohyrates and fat. In 1953 he received the Nobel Prize for this discovery which is a prize that is given to outstanding scientists who have made great discoveries.
