• Question: who is your favourite scientist ?

      My favourite scientist is definitely Gru from Despicable Me 😉 In real life though, I would have to say Charles Darwin. His theories of evolution have been such a huge influence on our lives, in so many ways that lots of people don’t even realise, that I don’t know what science would be like nowadays without him. There are thousands and thousands of scientific papers out there that all find their basis in evolution – I sometimes wonder what we’d do without all that knowledge.

      How about you, who’s your favourite scientist? (Apart from me of course!)

      I like Professor Farnsworth from Futurama… I like my professors to be mad. Like Pete though, in real life it has to be Darwin. I don’t think anyone has ever explained anything so complex in such a beautifully simple way… and it all makes sense.
