• Question: why do we need exercize

      Hi filiplaa,

      Exercise has many benefits- it can increase the function of our bodies e.g. make our muscles more efficient, and can help prevent disease by making sure everything functions correctly.

      Exercise is particularly good at ensuring our heart is able to pump blood around our body so this prevents our blood vessels from becoming clogged up.

      It can also cause changes in our cells to help us developing diseases such as diabetes.

      Exercise can also make us happy due to the release of substances in the brain known as endorphins

      * It can help you to feel healthier
      * Will help you heart to be stronger
      * Improves lung efficiency
      * Can improve illnesses like asthma
      * Can reduce illness by strengthening the immune system
      * Can help to maintain a desired weight
      * You are likely to be more alert after exercise
      * Your muscles will be stronger
