I’ll preface these comments by saying Im not a dietician or even a nutritionist, but from my “pop understanding” I’d say that in essence a balanced diet provides the nutrients our body needs. If we’re consuming a “restricted” diet, by definition there’s some nutrients our body is not receiving, and some nutrients are necessary for others to be digested effectively. I’m not sure that “pills” are the way forward as the fibre in some parts of our diet I understand to be important for “helping to remove the toxins”!
