Great question dache! Certain types of makeup can cause spots, if your skin is particularly sensitive to that makeup. Also, makeup can cause your skin to dry out, which doesn’t help. You also need to make sure that your skin is clean before putting makeup on, as otherwise bacteria can get trapped on your skin, which can cause acne.

Hi dache! Good question about the skin! Make-up doesn’t always give you spots….it depends on your skin type and the type of make-up that you wear. But sometimes it may cause you spots by blocking up the pores in your skin. The skin naturally secretes oils and things to keep it healthy but sometimes when you wear heavy make-up or moisturiser, it can block the pores where these oils and things usually come out of your skin. If these pores do get blocked then the oils and things collect under the skin because they can’t escape and then they cause a spot!
