      It’s not the deodorant itself necessarily, it’s what are known as the propellants that are in the deodorant can. These are gases that help to push out the deodorant when you push the top down, and contain things like alcohol and highly reactive gases. When you give them a bit of energy from fire, they basically explode in a process known as combustion.
