• Question: Will CD's and information on the internet last forever if it isn't deleted and how does the memory capacity of the Internet keep expanding?

      The way CDs store information is via tiny holes on grooves on their surface, so provided that they don’t get scratched, they will store their information indefinitely. The Internet is a bit tougher – basically, information on the Internet is stored in multiple locations, so it’s highly unlike that it will disappear (unless you delete it of course!) – but the Internet is reliant on electricity, so if we somehow lost the ability to generate power, we’d lose all that information!
      As for the memory capacity for the Internet, companies who provide storage are constantly adding new memory servers to keep up with demand!
